Shipping & Return Policies

 

Delivery and Shipping Costs

Although we will make every effort to ship your order in a timely manner, the delivery of your order may be delayed due to weather conditions or other events out of our control. Most orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hours.

 

What are the shipping costs?

Standard shipping is free for all orders of $299.99 or more (before applicable taxes). Please note that oversized products incur a $15.00 shipping surcharge. The surcharge is in addition to the cost of shipping, oversized items are indicated as such on their product page.

Customers can select Standard or Priority Shipping at any time during the check-out process prior to confirming their final order. Once the order is confirmed, shipping options cannot be changed. The customer is solely responsible for Express/Expedited/Priority Shipping costs.

Customers located in Sherwood Park, Alberta can select a "Sherwood Park Only" shipping method. This has no charge to those that apply. If selected and you are not applicable you will be charged the difference of the proper shipping method and will cause your order to be delayed.

 

  • Standard Shipping delays will vary between 2 to 9 days depending on location.
  • Sin Bin Sports cannot be held responsible for shipping delays caused by the shipping carrier.
  • Association Apparel is excluded from these shipping dates as stock varies based on the season.

 

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, we only ship to Canada.

 

What are your shipping times?

Delivery time of a purchased item depends on the shipping destination and the shipping method selected during Checkout. Orders are shipped during business days (Monday to Friday excluding holidays). All in-stock orders ship within 1-2 business days following credit card authorization and verification.

 

 

Online and In Store Return Policies

To assure you are fully satisfied with every item you purchase from sin-bin-sports.shoplightspeed.com, you may return an item within 30 days following the reception of your order for a full refund.

To initiate a online return, you must contact Customer Care at [email protected] . A Customer Care representative will initiate your return, supply you with Return Authorization (RA) number. This number will be emailed to you with detailed instructions on returning your item(s).

 Note: You cannot return your order unless you complete this step. 

 

Return Instructions

Purchases from sin-bin-sports.shoplightspeed.com can be returned in store to Sin Bin Sports of Sherwood Park, Alberta.

  1. Contact Customer Care at [email protected]  . A Customer Care representative will initiate your return, supply you with a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  2. To ensure a refund, the item(s) must be returned in perfect condition, unused and unworn, in its original packaging and with any paperwork, parts and/or accessories it came with to ensure a refund (a product considered in perfect condition will have all its labels and tags still attached to the item).
  3. Ensure the Return Authorization (RA) number you received via email is enclosed with the item(s) being returned. Returns sent without a Return Authorization (RA) number will delay processing of your return.
  4. Remove all extra labels from the outside of the box.
  5. Send the return package to the address indicated on the email you received from the Customer Care Team.

All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. 

We recommend that you use an insured and traceable shipping method for your return package and that you keep the return tracking number for your records. We will not be responsible for damaged, misdirected or lost return packages.

All items must be returned unused/unworn, in original product packaging and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure credit.

To receive credit, items must be returned within 30 days of the order date . The postmark date of the return package will be considered the return date.

You can expect a refund, in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of our receiving the returned item(s).

The Sin Bin Sports Online Return Policy applies only to purchases made on sin-bin-sports.shoplightspeed.com/.

 

Return Exceptions

Our Online Return Policy does not apply to all items.

Certain products are exempt to our Online Return Policy. Exemptions are as follows:

Base Layers, Undergarment, Jock Straps and Mouth Guards - For hygienic reasons, all base layers, undergarments, jock straps and mouth guards are final sale and are not eligible for a return.

Skate Modifications - Sharpened and/or custom fitted skates are not eligible for a return. Do not sharpen or custom fit your skates until you are certain your purchase is final.

Stick Modifications - Hockey Sticks - Returns are not accepted for taped hockey sticks or cut-down (sized) hockey sticks.

In-Store Returns

Customers are our first priority at Sin Bin. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Note: Refunds and exchanges will be accepted for unused/unworn & unwashed products only. All items must be complete in original packaging with tags still attached. All refunds will be made to the same form of payment as the original purchase.

Warranties

Some of the items sold in store come with a manufacturer's product warranty. In the unlikely event that you have a problem with anything that you've purchased from us within the manufacturer warranty period, you can submit a claim directly with the manufacturer as this is quickest way to submit a warranty claim. More information can be found on the manufacturer's website. However Sin Bin puts customers first. If you are unsure of how to complete your warranty claim come into our store and see one of our staff members who will ensure that file your claim properly and promptly.

General Warranty Guidelines:

  • All warranties begin from the original purchase date.
  • All warranty replacements are one-time only. Warranty replacements are not covered under warranty.
  • All warranty claims must be made within the Manufacturer's Warranty Period.
  • Pro Stock Equipment/Sticks are not covered under warranty.
  • Stick warranties must have the serial number sticker on the stick and the matching sticker on the receipt at the time of breakage. Removing the serial number sticker or losing the receipt may void the warranty.
  • All warranties are subject to Manufacturer discretion and their decisions are final. This may include repair or replacement.
  • All items must be unaltered from their original state. The warranty may be void if items are altered in ways outside of their intended use.
  • Items are only eligible for warranty under normal use. Damage/defects inflicted outside of intended use may result in the manufacturer denying the claim.

Defective Item

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective upon arrival, please contact Customer Care at [email protected]  . You must contact Customer Care before attempting to return the defective item to avoid any associated shipping fees. Failure to contact Customer Care prior to shipping the item to be returned, will result in the sender being responsible for all return shipping charges.

Please prepare a detailed description and provide supporting photographs of the damage or defect before contacting Customer Care to help describe the issue.

 

Wrong Item, Colour or Size

Should sin-bin-sports.shoplightspeed.com ship you an incorrect item, please contact Customer Care at [email protected]  . You must contact Customer Care before attempting to return the item to avoid any associated shipping fees. Failure to contact Customer Care prior to shipping the item to be returned, will result in the sender being responsible for all return shipping charges.

 

Exchanging an Item

Please note, no exchanges are accepted, products must be returned for a refund only if deemed unsatisfactory and a new replacement order must be placed. If you wish to exchange an item, you must first return the item by following our Return Instructions and order a new item at sin-bin-sports.shoplightspeed.com.
